Fabian Schaffer

Fabian Schaffer works as a student assistant at the Berlin Science Survey.

Fabian Schaffer has been studying Social Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin since 2016. From 2017-2019, he worked as a tutor for statistics at the Department of "Empirische Sozialforschung". In his bachelor thesis, completed in 2020, he focused on the autology problem in modern sociological social theory. Currently, Fabian Schaffer is studying for a master's degree in social sciences. He joined the Robert K. Merton Center in October 2020.

His research interests relate to sociological theorizing, its forms and conditions, sociological systems theory, sociology of knowledge and science, and social science methodology.
